Three Iberville Parish public school teachers were named and honored as 2008 Teachers of the Year. Capturing the honors are Marilyn Zito, a North Iberville Elementary School kindergarten teacher as Iberville Parish Elementary Teacher of Year; Penny Allen, an English, Spanish, and French teacher from White Castle High School as Iberville Parish Middle School Teacher of Year; and Tracy Martin, an East Iberville High School business education teacher as Iberville Parish High School Teacher of the Year.
