LINCS (Learning Intensive Networking Communities for Success)

LINCS is an intensive, whole-school improvement effort designed and delivered by the Office of Quality Educators in partnership with the Louisiana Systemic Initiatives Program (LaSIP) and the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) Partnership.

Key Components of the LINCS Process
Since its inception during School Year 2000-01, LINCS has provided a framework within which school staff can develop the knowledge and skills they need to:

bulletPresent deep content in mathematics, science, and/or English language arts;
bulletInfuse teaching with technology;
bulletDevelop lessons and authentic assessments that are both standard-based and sensitive to the student body's unique learning needs and strengths; and
bulletImplement Whole-Faculty Study Groups to enrich and support the faculty's evolution into a professional learning community.
